From the back cover;
"The "Oneirikes Afigiseis" is an anthology of seventeen short stories that emerged from the weird world of the dreamland. There is a great variance concerning the content of the stories, the style of writing, and the aesthetic-stylistic selections. However, the common denominator is the dreamy landscapes and the unconscious invasion of Morpheus at the lives of the protagonists. The imagination of the writers was left free and it created chimeric landscapes, otherwordly creatures, nightmarish patterns, and awkward situations, composing that way a puzzle of fantasy and horror. The potentialities of the stories is an augur well for the anthologies that will follow by "The Weird Side Tales". We will be waiting reflectively in the dark rooms of the mind for the next anthology"
Oneirikes Afigiseis was the first book that we published as The Weird Side Daily. It consists of seventeen stories that were chosen by a committee as the best, among roughly one hundred and fifty more that were sent. It also has four more stories from the founders of The Weird Side Daily, Magda Asimakopoulou, Petros Koutroubilas, Vaggelis Giatroutsikos-Prattos, and me.
Don't let the name fool you. The stories are dark, unsettling, meant to terrify you. Do you dare read them?
*Magda did a great job with the cover as you can see, Vaggelis with the preface, and Petros with the editing. Mary Daoglou, Marili Patouxa, and Dimitris Psomadellis were the amazing committee that read all the stories and chose the best (all of them were so nice and clever that they had a really hard time choosing only seventeen...)
